Side Family Spotlight #1

 Welcome to the first Side Family Spotlight. The spotlights will be for important plot moments that could possibly affect a main family but they heavily involve one side family. I plan on doing these here and there and as this is our first Side Family Spotlight that means it will have quite an impact on a main family....the question is which one will be affected?

The De Blanc Family

The first spotlight will be placed upon the De Blanc family and to be specific three members of their family/household. Here are the 3 members involved in today's spotlight:

One of the members involved in this spotlight is Marjorie Jankel De Blanc. Marjorie is the daughter of the Parson and sister to Lucille Alston. Marjorie was married into the De Blancs due to her dowry and that the De Blanc family wanted connections with a family in the town. The marriage was great socially for the De Blancs as it paved their way into Alfreda Isle Society. Marjorie is very much of a party animal and a true rich girl of high society!

The second out of the three members is Francois De Blanc. Francois is the husband of Marjorie and he is a good and very active sim. As seen he loves to fence and he enjoys spending time with the younger members of the household which includes his quad younger siblings, daughter, and niece. 

The third and final member getting the spotlight in this part is the De Blanc maid, Luella Holloway. Luella comes from the town of New Whitby and its infamous Holloway family. Luella has a very close attachment to Francois.....she is a romance sim after all but she still keeps the most valuable Victorian standards in regards to romance!

Spotlight Time

    "Marjorie we need to share the bed again! With Gaspard refusing to remarry and his only child being a girl .We need to try again and this time for a son and heir," Francois told his wife after they had been arguing for a time over the situation. In truth he was the second son and yet he was the one with the wife to provide the son who could possibly lead the De Blancs in the future. The De Blancs knew they would be secure as there was Gaspard, Francois, and their 3 younger brothers who are apart of the unexpected quad set that Marie-Louise gave birth to yet the future was always unexpected and there needed to be a male for the generation after Francois'. 

    "You know what Francois! If you end your affair with that servant wench then I will gladly share your bed until a son and heir is born! But mark my words I will not be blamed if you do not have a son this is on you! Your lucky I thought I loved you or our daughter would have never been born! Your lucky you have me without me your family would have not been accepted by society. So I will say it once again you end your affair with that servant wrench and we will continue relations until a son is born" She responded back her words hitting him like stabs. All it was true....without her his family could have not had a place in the society. She was best friend of the mayor's wife, her sister is married into a founding family and her father is the parson.

    Francois walks off cursing under his breath...what to do...what to do

    Marjorie walks into her bedroom ready for bed and right there she sees her husband kissing Luella.

    "What in GOD'S NAME?!" Marjorie screams and continues to scream. A fight ends up ensuing. 

~FAST FOWARD TO THE END OF THE FIGHT~

    Luella heads for the door leaving the suite tears crying her wails being heard. How could I have been so dumb, Luella thought to herself when she reached to grab for the door handle.

    "Do not go, Luella," Francois begs his voice pleading and showing his true feelings, "I love you Luella....please stay."

    "Francois how can you say just a thing?! I love you so much it has blinded me, I come from a sensible family I am meant to be sensible" Luella said being interrupted by Marjorie's snicker. "Your a husband, a father, a man of upper class and station. I must stay true to my virtues and values. I am going and leaving the service of your dear family who has treated me as one of their own." Luella replied her voice breaking her eyes being blurred by the raw emotion. Luella grabs for the door handle and opens it then stops and looks back at Francois. "I wish you to know that you are my first love and I believe I will love you always" Luella replies running back to kiss him on the cheek and run out of the suite door, down the stairs, out of the De Blanc home to....to where. Luella then thinks of the one person who would take her in. Her dear friend the only person who does not see the social divide in their relationship her closest friend in Alfreda Isle, Eloise Newton.....At least I walked away intact, Luella thought to herself as she walked away into a new chapter of her experiences on Alfreda Isle.

    "You are a lucky bastard. I am still considering of even bedding you. But I know what is expected of me and what society expects of me. So I will bear you many children! YOU BASTARD!" Marjorie yells as she heads to walk out of the suite. 

Not Plot Relevant:

 Francois decided to attack Marjorie. I am not making it apart of the plot or story but it was a must to share. Marjorie won of course because she is #GIRLBOSS😌
