Adelia did not feel the need nor want to go get new clothes, but her brother and mother were pushing her to. As they felt she deserved to use some of the income she earned by being the main family member who manages the business even though it all went to Thomas. The Newton's even though Gregory has moved out with his wife and daughter still have family meals! Eloise discussed how she is so excited that the schoolhouse will open soon so she can became a teacher, Gregory was silent most of time thinking of his upcoming wedding with his love, Victoria Mace, and Catheryn was driving her eldest nuts with compliments on her new outfit and hairdo!
The wedding of Victoria Mace and Thomas Newton! They got married right when the sun was setting(but of course it went dark before I got the picture). Thomas is madly in love while Victoria is quite disgusted by the arrangement. Isabel Jane Alston Mace is moving in with her step-daughter as she feels her son and his wife need to have the house to themselves and plus she and Catheryn can spend some more time together😏! (I hate how I can never have a good wedding in sims due to game drama oy vey, I swear if I actually get a good wedding I will cry with joy lol.)
Isabel and Catheryn's romance just keeps on growing. The other family members do not care about the relationship as this family is very liberal pretty much radical for their times. Even though Catheryn still thinks of her husband, Henry and how much she loved him she knows that her and Isabel were meant to be. Isabel on the otherhand did not really love either of her husbands and has experienced a real love for the first time in her life!

Even though Catheryn is 68-years of age she is staying quite fit and on top of things. She just ignores the minor pain in her elbows as she works on her late husband's dream. She is so proud of the storefront and feels honored to have that be part of her namesake. She also visits Gregory and Dorothea frequently so she can play with her baby granddaughter and first grandchild, Cat who also happens to be another namesake of Catheryn's.
"Adelia I wanted you to know that I am deeply proud of you! I do not know much time I have, but you need to know how proud I am of you. My firstborn I have loved you to the planets and back. You have helped me so much and I should have supported you more after the death of your pa. I am sorry for that! But you need to know that I am not ashamed you are unwed and do not have kids! You are a strong young lady and god knows if you were a boy how much you would have soared, but I do not care of that! You are an amazing woman who can easily fill my role of matriarch of this family," Catheryn told her daughter tearing up at the end. All Adelia could do was hold tight to her mother while they were both lightly crying.
Isabel was so surprised that her daughter visited her. I swear Catheryn and Isabel both have deep connections with their eldest living child! Magdalena even told her how servitude has been treating her and she is really enjoying it plus the Gulley's are such a nice family!
Catheryn at 69 has reached her time. It happened in the family parlor and was such a heartbreaking moment. Isabel has lost her third life partner and now the Newton family is without their matriarch who has led the family through so much. The saddest part was that Catheryn wanted to stay and even had the wish of getting another grandchild!
Even though Thomas does not have much interest in weaving he knows it is his responsibility and the legacy of his dear parents. He thought since he woke up early he should help out of his elder sister, Adelia with picking the reeds.
Victoria has woken up early in the morning with back pains. She truthfully is not at all enjoying her life. Married to a man she is not romantically interested in while he is madly in love with her. She is not enjoying her pregnancy and she feels like her sister-in-laws think she is dumb. But the truth is she never grew up in an intellectual household and did not continue schooling in her teenage years unlike them. Her only consolement is her step-mother, Isabel who is the only mother figure she has ever known.
C&H Wickers and Weavers is packed full of wicker and weaved furnishings. Opening day will hopefully be a success!
Adelia is dazzling all of the customers while Thomas takes care of the cash register! Adelia is definitely the one who will be making this business succeed!
Adelia has mastered the creativity skill and has a goal of getting family portraits done! First up is Victoria! Victoria gave birth in the early morning! The birth was not at all ideal, Victoria was scared to death and she felt Thomas was hounding her and annoying her! She spent most of the labor cursing and cursing until a little girl was born! Who Victoria wanted to name Florence and Thomas gave her Victoria as a middle name. After the birth Victoria kept bleeding and bleeding. " I hate you Thomas Newton! I was forced to marry you, I do not love you!!! You have done this to me, YOU are my murder!!! And in the name of Christ, the lord and savior I promise you I will not let you rest until you are in hell!!," Victoria screamed so angrily that it seemed to take most of her breath and she died. Thomas held her dead body for hours, crying thinking of her final words. He had really done to this to her. It was all his fault, how could he go on. He truly believed he was cursed, he ended the life of the love of his life. She didn't even love him... His sister, Eloise tried to encourage him away and console him but It would not happen. While Isabel was in the next room with Adelia holding little Florence. Adelia felt extremely horrible for her niece, she had a feeling that this little girl's future will be resting in the balance while Isabel could not stop thinking about Florence. Florence was the granddaughter of Isabel's second husband, John and her love, Catheryn plus all that remained of her precious step-daughter who was her own daughter in all the ways possible. Isabel Jane Alston Mace has died of old age. Wife to two men and the lover of Catheryn Newton plus a mother of four she has lived quite a life! She died so close to her step-daughter, now Florence really has no close connections to her mother.
Eloise Newton is so excited that Alfreda Isle Schoolhouse has opened! She has become the teacher of the schoolhouse and cannot wait to teach and educate the future of Alfreda Isle!
All Thomas has said about his daughter was to move Victoria's portrait to her room but he only has referred to his daughter as that girl. Her aunts, Adelia and Eloise are working hard with their own lives and trying to spend time with little Florence. Adelia is quite shocked by herself. She has never been a motherly person probably due to helping her widowed mother with her siblings and she has been very focused on becoming wealthy and working hard much like the fortune sim she is. She just feels a special connection with Florence and it matters a lot to her. But she is still confident she does not want to be married or tied down with children, Florence is just an exception...surely...
Florence Victoria Newton has aged up into a toddler. Her father seems to actually be spending time with her but still has night terrors about the death of his late wife! I think Florence is quite a good mix of both of her parents (Just ignore the non-historical outfit haha). And with her birthday we wrap up the main Newton family rotation time to move on to Gregory Newton's rotation.
Gregory Newton's Family Rotation
Gregory and Dorothea are very much a couple in love. Plus with Dorothea being a family sim she desperately wants more babies to fill up their apartment. Plus Catheryn Dorothea "Cat" needs some little siblings to play with.
Gregory is still very devoted to the piano and his career in music! He cannot wait to start his career and soar through promotions and he dreams of becoming a well-known pianist. Dorothea's days as a maid for the Rodboro's sure were not the best, but she is thankful for it as it is helping her manage her home and be the best mother and wife possible(in her opinion).
Cat sure is a spoiled little girl! But her mother is expecting a second little one. Yet I am sure she still will be spoiled with love and affection.
Dorothea truly is well suited for motherhood. She dreams of one day having a cozy family cottage to raise her and Gregory's family in. (I have a feeling that her being pregnant and with a baby will be a common reoccurrence).
Gregory Newton is keeping up with his Newton bones and keeping up with making sure his mind is well. Even his wife learned to play chess so they can bond.
A fire has happened in the family's apartment. Luckily no one got hurt, but Dorothea was mad to find out it was started by broiled rabbit! "Gregory how could you! Our daughter could have died, all because you did not let me cook! So what I am massively with child, this is my home, my domain so let me take charge," Dorothea screamed at her husband. Gregory just knew to not fight with his wife as she is with child and has all the emotions coming with that.
Audrey Caroline Newton has been born! Her mother and father are very joyous about her birth, since Gregory does not really have any land he does not mind that he has not yet a son! He just wants healthy babies.
Dorothea feels incredibly drained during her third pregnancy. She is hoping for multiples as she is a twin. She dreams of having twin boys, to balance out her little family.
Gregory Ralph Newton has aged up into an adult with full platinum aspiration! He is a Knowledge Sim with a Family secondary. He is in the music career and has maxed out creativity and logic! Plus he is married to a woman he loves and has two perfect daughters with another baby on the way! Dorothea with little Audrey. Dorothea is truly a great mother and wife which means the world as she never grew up with a mother herself. Being with her children, Dorothea forgets all the pain she occurred during her teen years as she was forced to sleep with her employer so her family could keep their positions. But thankfully that man has died but that does not mean the pain and trauma is fully gone.
Dorothea is rocking her third trimester with her third pregnancy baby bump! She and Gregory both have dreams of moving out onto their property so that is their current dream! Along with Gregory becoming the highest promotion level possible for his career.
Audrey Caroline Newton has aged up! I have a feeling she will grow into a very beautiful young woman!
Cat came down with a horrible chill and had a horrible cough. The little girl has died one day shy of her birthday into being a child. Dorothea heavily pregnant had a breakdown and suddenly her waters broke. Gregory did not know what to do and was over-whelmed their daughter was dead and his wife was in labor with another baby. Catheryn Dorothea Newton "Cat" has gone up into heaven to join her namesake and grandmother Catheryn Newton who also died this rotation. Twin boys, Gideon Henry and Gabriel Tobias. Each of the boy's middle names are names of their grandfathers. Henry after Gregory's father and Tobias after Dorothea's father. Both the twins and Dorothea are in a state of good health. With the birth of these twins on the night of their sister's devastating death we wrap up this rotation.
