Eloise Newton has aged up into an adult! She was surprised to find that her mother bought her a new dress. There is also talk of a school house being opened by the county as it appears many are upset that Alfreda Isle still has kids getting transported to the main land and school house is needed on the isle. Eloise as thrown her hat into the running for teacher and all her teachers she had during her schooling have supported her case. So it seems very likely that Miss. Eloise Newton will be the first teacher of Alfreda Isle Schoolhouse!
Catheryn Mary Newton is very much enjoying how comfortable her elderhood as been. Her adulthood was stressful being a widow with four kids and a business. Yet it has all paid off in the end as she as an amazing home with four amazing kids.
Gregory and Dorothea had a small quiet wedding at St. Margaret's Parish. Only the Newton family and Parson were in presence as Dorothea's family had work and the former mayor, Anthony Rodboro was opposed to the marriage as he used her in horrible ways(Anthony Rodboro died of the flu during the last Rodboro rotation, the mayoral position passed to his second son, Charles as his eldest, Jonas also died of the flu). The couple have decided to continue living with the Newton's for some time as Catheryn would love to soak up all the time she has with her youngest! Catheryn and her daughter-in-law, Dorothea have become very good friends which means a lot to Catheryn as she is 62 and is constantly nervous about dying to soon. She wants to see all her kids happy and she wants to see her grandkids. So forming this bond and connection with Dorothea means so much to Catheryn. The Newton's have continued their morning discussions about politics, women's rights, etc. But Dorothea has some news to inform her husband's family that has been so welcoming.
"Um, Gregory and I have some news to share," Dorothea tells everyone finally after a pause from the very deep fast moving conversation. Everyone's eyes immediately expanded as they could wait to hear the news.
"Mother, you will soon become a grandmother," Gregory says through his bright smile after licking the syrup off his silverware. Catheryn immediately started crying much to everyone's shock and breakfast ended in a bunch of excited screams.
Dorothea is so relieved that it was only a close call. Catheryn immediately ordered her to lounge on the sofa and listen to some calming piano music by her husband who has a knack for it.
Dorothea has really been obsessed with the baby ever since her scare. She and Gregory had a discussion that once they have the baby they will rent out a townhome as Dorothea wants space to raise her children and like a proper family sim run her own household. He also stated that he wants to join the music career which they both hope provides an ample income to raise numerous children on!Dorothea is so relieved that it was only a close call. Catheryn immediately ordered her to lounge on the sofa and listen to some calming piano music by her husband who has a knack for it.
Dorothea had a fine and easy birth much to Catheryn's shock. She could not wait to hold her little grandbaby. Gregory and Dorothea both agreed on the name Catheryn Dorothea Newton after her grandmother and mother. The little girl will have the nickname of Cat. They both decided that they would stay an extra day so Catheryn really got to get to know her first grandchild.
Dorothea is shocked about how much a mother can love her child. She truly adores Cat and it has made her realize even more that she wants tons of children to fill up her house with love and little laughs. Dorothea and Gregory Newton have moved out! They have rented one of the four townhomes on this lot! Three bedrooms with 1.5 baths it is a very nice layout. Gregory was given a 10,000 inheritance and Charles Rodboro gave Dorothea 5,000 for her years in servitude(much to her suprise)! So with 15,000 they were able to decorate the townhome comfortably.
