Rotation 5: Chapter 3: The O'Hara's

 

Olive and her younger brother, Herbert have become a close bunch. Olive and her older brother, Jack love to roughhouse, the game Punch Me is a favorite between the two.

Anna O'Hara seems to have come out of her time of depression. Which shocked her family, her marriage has repaired decently and she is trying to build a relationship with her three youngest. 

Della cannot believe the type of situation she has gotten herself into.....she must tell him!

"Your PREGNANT! Della do you really think that Rodboro boy loves you? Do you realize who he is and who YOU are! He is a snobby Protestant who is of the richest family in town, your a CATHOLIC girl from a founding family! Do you realize why he went for you? HE NEVER LOVED YOU!,"

"But Esther he he he-," Della breaks out into tears. 

"Della I am so sorry. Here is what the plan will be, you will move in with me and my husband. You will be confined to inside which I know is not the best. But we must conceal this and not give that Rodboro bastard the satisfaction of this scandal. We will let it be known for fear of getting our parents ill you have decided to stay in my home. Okay?," Esther says while pulling her despaired sister into an embrace.

"What about the baby?," Della asks choking up. 

"One step at a time. I will tell mother and father of your illness and why you chose to move in with me. NOBODY NOT EVEN OUR PARENTS OR SIBLINGS MSUT KNOW OF THE BABY" Esther responds holding her emotional twin sister even more tightly than ever before.

Chester O'Hara is an elder. He has had a dramatic and sad life, his best time of life has been recent as the business has three stars!

Herbert has aged up! His father is so happy to finally have two sons who can secure the O'Hara name! He has big aspirations of Jack running the apple orchard and Herbert running another orchard but with something other than apples. 

Anna Fitz O'Hara has aged into an elder. Her eldest children, Della and Esther are very fearful that Anna will fall back into her depression spell, but she seems to be doing well. 

Thanks to the O'Hara's finally making it from negative stars their business has been thriving. Thanks to a rank 4 business they were able to upgrade their house and actually pull the family out of their very low income situation. 

Chester and Anna after a very stressful adulthood are really enjoying their newfound success and income. They are getting a much needed rest and with it being winter the apples aren't ready to be picked.

It seems that the stresses of Anna's depression, low income, and just low class life really brought this family down. It really is nice seeing how both Anna and Chester are making an effort to get to know their youngest three children and connect with them. Chester also really feels bad as he feels like him being angry about no male heir for so long put a strain on his marriage and furthered Anna's depression. But he knows he cannot change that and must accept it to the best of his abilities. 

Jack Daniel O'Hara has aged up into a teen. He is a fortune sim with turn-ons of Brown hair and Good at cleaning and a turn-off of fitness. He is shockingly better looking than expected. His parents would very much favor him marrying the oldest Brady girl, but he doesn't know of that idea yet. 

Olive Maisie O'Hara has aged up into a teenager. She looks much like Della, who is her eldest sister. Olive is a family sim who just wants to devote her life to her children. She has turn-ons of Red hair and Fitness with a turn-off of underwear. Her best friend is Lydia Brady which is perfect as her parents hope she can convince Lydia to get close with Jack when she ages up in the near future. 

With Della and Esther gone. Olive has felt like it is her duty to get close with Herbert specially as he is the closest of all three of the siblings to Della. It made him sad that Della was sick so Olive has been going the extra mile to cheer Herbert up!

Olive and Jacob have been trying to get to know each other as their engagement will be announced tomorrow and they will be wed on the O'Hara lot in only a few days time. Neither love each other and personality wise they are iffy. I don't see them ever really being in love but hope they could at least be friends. They both have discussed the future they want and are very practical about it. Jacob will inherit the family home as his elder brother has no need for land. Then he plans on being a general vegetable farmer. He dreams of owning a grocery and even pulling in apples from his wife's family orchard. They both want three to four children. She has a small dowry of 3,000!

Chester and Malcolm are both so proud of their children on this amazing day. They have a classic rough handshake to commemorate this day of union between the two families. They are also both Irish Catholic families and I could see more marriages between the two families down the line.  

Even the mothers of the bride and groom are chatting. They both can't wait to see little grandbabes running around.

This is the reaction Olive had after seeing Jacob flee the altar. She immediately felt unwanted and shed tears. She felt bad and almost sick for herself and him. But his father chased after him and gave his son a stern beating then the wedding commenced and the pair are now married in a sad manner.
