Mini Chapter~Meet the Rodboro's

A new family has arrived to town. The Rodboro's jumped at the chance to build a life here. They used to be city folk for generations of Anthony's family. Anthony was about to have to declare bankruptcy due to trying to upkeep his city home. He sold almost everything to continue to upkeep the city house. And the family thought soon they would have to sell or become destitute but they had no where to go. So Anthony jumped at the opportunity to become Mayor of some small unknown village. Anthony let go of all his servants besides five and sold his big city house for a great amount. He then commissioned this house to be built and he met all the families in the small village. All three of the families besides one asked for a Parish and after discussing with his wife he realized building a parish will make the people like him. Even though he wasn't very religious he knew this would be his way to be accepted in. So once their house was finished the family and a family of five servants moved to Alfreda Isle. The parish won't be finished for some time but Anthony is very excited to start his new role. Even if he is a little snobbish and thinks of the other families as poor low-class men. Now Anthony's wife, Amelia Sophia is very pleased to be away from city life. She hated the constant gossip and wasting her life away as a women of city society. She is a woman of a gentle heart and believes that Kindness always matters. She is very much unlike her husband in that matter and their marriage has some deep dark nooks of pain. Her biggest pride and joy are her three children. Their eldest, Jonas(child with black hair) is very much like his father which scares his mother. Even though Amelia tries her hardest Jonas will never be like her and she has to accept it. Next is their son, Charles who is much like his mother and does not like when his father hits their mother. Then the third child and current youngest is Martha Elsie.

Here are the mayor's servants. The Woode family has served the Rodboro's for generations. The butler(elder male) John Philip Woode grew up as the son of a maid in the service of Anthony's father. Anthony's father and John grew up as close friends and John has vowed to serve the Rodboro's to his death. The cook(elder Female), Elizabeth grew up in a poor hosehold and jumped at the opportunity to become the cook to the Aunt of Amelia. Elizabeth then would go on to serve Amelia's father after the death of her former mistress. When Amelia and Henry married Elizabeth came with her young mistress to the city. There she fell in love with John they were both in their early forty's and did not expect to get pregnant but they did. Tobias was the unexpected child of the cook and the Butler. He would go on to learn about gardening and the outdoors. He then became the groundskeeper and married a maid.
His wife would go on and die in childbirth to twins. The twins are Edna(Brunette) and Dorothea(Red-head). Edna is the maid of the family and Dorothea is the nursemaid/governess of the Rodboro children. The girls are both young teens which was historically accurate for the times. The Woode family unit is very close-knit and are very devoted to the Rodboro's.
