So as Maria was making food something happened. And yet again another fire happened. (I was so happy to be able to announce the town's 2nd fire)
During the fire, Maria Rose Alston burned to death in front of her husband's eyes(She was also pregnant but neither of them knew it.....đ„). Also all of the kitchen was destroyed besides the fridge.
So there was a mini celebration when three families from the mainland came to visit each of the four families. David was really depressed and felt completely alone since the death of his precious wife. Isabelle Clarke is the daughter of a well-to-do farmer and she begged her grandfather to allow her to visit the other families. Isabelle immediately felt connected to David as she herself lost her fiancé to a tragic accident. David smiled for the first time since his wife's death. And shockingly finds himself attracted to another woman(other than his wife) for the first time.
David and Isabel have been joined in matrimony. They had her father's blessing and now can't wait to live the future of their lives together.
"David...I'm late and believe i'm with child," Isabel Jane Alston shouted to her husband in the other room. David immediately ran in and hugged his wife.
Over breakfast Isabel and David discussed names and came upon terms they both agree on. Their first boy will be named Harvey Earl. Harvey is for Isabel's late fiancé and Earl is a family name on David's side. Their first girl will be named Maria Isabel after David's late wife and his new wife.
Maria Isabel Alston has been born! She is healthy as is the mother despite the fact that Isabel had the influenza while in labor.
